#59

This topic have been on my mind so much lately and it is the most stressful thing ever. I took my survey class for business but now I'm not sure if I'm going to stay with that. Ever since I was younger I always would switch between becoming a doctor or lawyer. For the most part it was always a doctor and then my senior year I leaned more towards lawyer. Starting at the end of my sophomore year though I became really interested in business and figured no matter what profession I chose I could just get a business degree for undergrad since pre med or pre law are specific majors. I decided law was way out of the question this summer because I HATE writing and I would be doing tons of that for law school and also I like math and science too much to not take any of those classes. So my most logical and perfect plan if it worked out was that I wanted to get a degree in business finance and then try to go to medical school to eventually become a surgeon. I know this seems far fetched but I know it wasn't out of the question because medical schools like well-rounded people and also my peer advisor in the business school was doing basically the same thing, but minoring in chemistry. So, so far I have been taking math and chemistry so that right now my classes count for pre med and for business, but I've realized there is a very slim chance I would graduate on time if I majored in business but then also took all the pre med requirements. So most recently I am trying to decide if I should be a finance major or switch to biology so that I know I have the pre-med requirements. I would really like to have a business degree from here since Fisher is such a good school and you could do a range of things with the BSBA but then I feel I've already ruined my GPA for business by taking chemistry classes for the bio/pre med major and that staying with business would leave not a very good chance for med school. Then again I might like business enough that I wouldn't want to go to medical school. It's two totally different majors and so confusing but I can't make up my mind.
